To know the unknown, to unravel the puzzle of human Psychology & behaviour has been an enduring quest. It has opened new doors of knowledge, science and understanding. This path that has unraveled an enticing career that brings challenges and psychological obstacles to my table every day, and solving them and helping people overcome them has been making my day. For years.
What lends an edge to my above interest is the vast experience and exposure I have gained in medicinal research for Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Parkinson’s Disease, Ataxia, Neuropathic Lower Back Pain, Bipolar Disorder, RETTS Syndrome, Obsessive compulsive disorder.
Dr. Prashant Baspure is a member of International Society of Sexual Medicine, member of Indian Psychiatry Association. He has trained in European society of Sexual Medicine, Dr. Prashant Baspure is Psychiatrist & Certified Sexual Medicine Specialist. He is practicing Sexual Medicine & Psychiatry since 2003. He is also into research field of CNS (Nervous system) medicines. He has extensive experience in medicinal research for Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Parkinsons Disease, Ataxia, Neuropathic Lower Back Pain, Bipolar Disorder, RETTS Syndrome, Obsessive compulsive disorder.
He has been certified by Oxford School of Sexual Medicine in the fellowship conducted by European society which is the only Multi-Disciplinary Joint Committee of Sexual Medicine & European Federation of Sexology. He has attended residential fellowship at Budapest, Hungary and appeared and cleared fellowship examinations at Istanbul and Madrid, Spain. It is the only course in Sexual Medicine conferred by any society yet. He has been consultant Psychiatrist & Sexologist and has consulted at various Hospital including NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health in Neuro Sciences, Bangalore), Manasa Neuropsychiatry Hospital, NU Hospital, Devi Hospital, Bangalore. Columbia Asia Hospital, Shree Hospital, Pune etc.
